Please know that you are buying here play tested horn by a pro player so you are not playing a lottery ! I’m selling trumpets on eBay for the past 20 years and I play trumpet much longer . Here is a great example of a still very good condition and great player EARLIER Fullerton era Olds Ambassador #36xxxx. According to serial I believe that this horn was made in the earlier period of Fullerton era after factory moved from LA, CA. These horns still had top of the valves stamped with serial # and all match here ! This horn really impressed me during play testing as sound is really rich and full on it. It must be well put together. These horns are desirable players and also great for a back up or of course a student. This one has seen some action over the years as condition shows and has tarnished vintage lacquer in still good shape as the photos show. Yes it does have few smaller dings tried to show one below bell pipe which is actually shallow near brace ( PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS ) . The 3rd slide stopped rod is not longer there but it does not to be there a finger in the ring stops and adjust the 3rd slide during playing. Valves are very nice with very good compression and lighter springs and move smoothly. It’s a great player for jazz or learning if you wish to save money over a pro horn or have a back up.
