Vintage 1993 SANTA’S BEST Christmas Charmers “Dear Santa” ornament featuring a typewriter and two elves composing the story “Twas the night before Christmas.” This is a decent quality plastic ornament, somewhat comparable to Hallmark ornaments. Dimensions are just under 2.25″ tall and about 3.25″ wide and 2.5″ deep. The condition of the ornament is excellent given its years. At first, I thought the elve’s hands (holding the book) may have broken off and been reglued, but I think it’s just how the hands were molded during its manufacture (i.e., it left a crease in the plastic). Normally, with repairs, there will be some glue residue showing, and there is none. There’s a bit of roughness on the edges of the white paper (also there since manufacture). The box for the ornament has seen much better days. It has plenty of creases, tears, etc., but it will be included with your purchase. This would be an outstanding gift to your favorite writer. If yours was born or got his/her first writing job in 1993, perfection!
