We designed The “Mantis” Boomerang with a unique, radical shape that provides a superior flight, better wind resistance and an easier catch than the traditional shaped boomerang you might be familiar with. The Mantis is made of durable five-ply Baltic Birch plywood and is brightly colored to make it easy to see. It has a range of around 25 yards (which is short in terms of boomerangs, yet still requires an open field, such as a ball field or park.) It is handcrafted and painted in Ohio by Gregg Snouffer, former coach and team member of the United States Boomerang Team and five time world champion thrower. Comes with complete illustrated throwing instructions and links to online instructions to get you throwing and catching fast! The size is 12 inches from tip to tip.
