Bush Presidential $1 25-Coin Roll contains uncirculated coins minted at the Denver Mint. These coins’ designs display large, dramatic artwork and edge-incused inscriptions of the year, “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and mint mark. Each coin features a likeness of President Bush on the obverse (heads) and a striking modern rendition of the Statue of Liberty on the reverse (tails). Obverse inscriptions are “GEORGE H. W. BUSH,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “41st PRESIDENT,” and “1989-1993.” Reverse inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and “$1.” George Herbert Walker Bush was born June 12, 1924, in Milton, Massachusetts. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Navy Air Medal with two gold stars.
